You are using your Activity Pod to do an illusion. It is important that you follow the instructions or the water will spill! And practice, practice, practice!!

Position
Take a plastic cup of water and introduce your trick. Then place the Pod in front of you on the table and ensure that the word 'pod' is level in front of you. Tumble the Pod over, making sure that the handle end of the Pod is facing your audience as you turn it. They must not be able to see the inside. |

Lower then Lift
Take your cup of water and place it inside. Tumble the Pod back over, remembering to keep the handle end facing your audience. Lift up the Pod. Put it back on the table. Tumble it over as described above and lift out the cup of water. Then tell your audience that you are going to roll the Pod and the water will still not spill (as long as you follow the instructions below!) |

Lower then Roll
Place the cup back into the Pod. Remembering to tumble it with the handle facing the audience, tumble the Pod onto its side. If you look inside the opening at the bottom, you should see that the inner 'cradle' is horizontal. If it isn't, stop! Turn the Pod over and ensure that the word Pod on the top is level. Turn the Pod on its side and check again. If it is level, you can now gently roll the Pod across the table, lift it up, roll it a second time on the table before tumbling it upside down and taking the cup out. No spills!! You must practice!! And don't show the audience how it is done!! |
